Entries for the Western Ranges Zone Combined event are now open. Entries and payment can be made at www.westernrangeszone.org Follow the link to the Combined Event at the top of the website and complete all steps. Remember that entries are capped to 200 athletes.
Zone Combined Event All registered athletes from the following Western Ranges Zone Centres are invited to enter the 2020/21 Western Ranges Zone Combined Event: Bathurst, Blayney, Canowindra, Cowra, Glenbrook, Katoomba, Kurrajong/Bilpin, Lithgow, Oberon and Springwood.
When: Sunday 13th December 2020.
Starting Time: First call will be at 09:45am – First Event 10:00am
Where: Katoomba Little Athletics Centre. Pitt Park, Matcham Ave., Wentworth Falls.
Events: Each Athlete will complete the following Events:
U7: 70m, 200m, Pack Start, Long Jump, Discus
U8: 70m, 200m, Pack Start, Long Jump, Shot Put
U9: 70m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Discus
U10: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put
U11: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Discus
U12: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put
U13: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Discus
U14: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put
U15: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Discus
U17: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put
Entries: Enter open on Monday online at www.westernrangeszone.org and follow the directions, or please see your Centre Championships Officer.
Please Note: Due to CoVID-19 requirements, entries will be limited to 200 athletes. Entries close Wednesday 9 December 2020
Entry Fee: $10 per athlete Awards: “Eric Arnold” Trophy for the Overall Centre Point score. Every Competitor will receive a WRZ Certificate. Please Note: - Competition will be conducted under local Rules, LANSW/IAAF Rules. - Competitors must compete in their own age group. - Approved Centre uniform must be worn with Registration Number - Footwear is compulsory for ALL competitors in ALL events - Spikes may be worn as per LANSW Rules of Competition. Wet Weather: In the event of heavy rain, refer to www.westernrangeszone.org. If postponed, we will endeavour to determine an alternate date.
