REGISTRATION

Summer Registration 2020

 

Registrations will open on 15th August 2020.

Season will commence on:

  • Saturday 3rd Oct, 8.15am: Orientation Day for U6, U7, U8, U11's and any other first time Little Athletes. This is not a competition day.

  • Sat 10th Oct, 8.15am: First Day of Competition!

  • 2019/20 Plaques/Trophies and all other 2019/20 season gear will be available on the first day of comp.

Registration patch collect & uniform sales all at Tom Hunter Park:

  • Monday 14th, 21st & 28th September, 5-6pm

  • Saturday 19th & 26th September, 9-11am

Unfortunately we will not be offering a Tiny Tots or U6 program this season.

Any changes to the program will be communicated via our facebook group.

The Registration Icon on right hand side of page offers the following three options:

  1. RENEW your membership. Existing Members – for individual members who have been registered before (Click here to access Tips for Existing Members Re-registering Online).

  2. JOIN New Members – for individual members registering for the first time.

  3. Family Membership – for all family registrations, existing or new.  When registering or re-registering more than one child you are eligible for a family discount if you select this category.

Fees

SDAC accepts Active Kids Vouchers, please visit https://www.service.nsw.gov.au to claim your voucher.

In 2020/21 SDAC fees remain unchanged. Our fees cover expenses such as:

  • Entry fees for Zone, Regional, State Relays etc

  • Council Levies

  • LANSW and ANSW Affiliation fees

  • Upgrade equipment

  • Ground Maintenance and Line Marking

  • Coaching Sessions

*All fees include a $30 Parent Helper Levy (one fee per family), refundable at end of season upon completion of helper tasks

Guidelines for Online Registration

  1. Link to the Little Athletics NSW website via www.lansw.com.au and click on the Registration link on the right hand side.

  2. Select your membership category (as explained above) and you will be asked to select a Centre and Club both of which are “Springwood District Athletics Club”.

  3. You will then be guided through a step-by-step registration process –

  4. For each athlete being registered select the relevant age group (refer to Age Group Calculator link above) – following this you will be required to –

  5. Agree to abide by the rules and regulations of LANSW.

  6. Complete each athlete’s name, address, telephone, emergency contact details, email, date of birth, gender and school;

  7. Pay by credit card or PayPal online

NB: If you are re-registering either as an individual or as a family you need to sign in using your username and password that you will receive in an email from LANSW.  Each athlete has his or her own ID and password whether re-registering as an individual or as part of a family registration.

MEMBERSHIP IS NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED

Step 2

Registration Completion & Uniform Purchase

 Please attend a Registration Collection Day to complete your registration, receive your registration pack (including registration number and age patch to be worn at training) and purchase uniform if required.

  • Monday 14th, 21st & 28th September, 5-6pm

  • Saturday 19th & 26th September, 9-11am

​All Volunteers must complete the Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Training prior to volunteering. Please go to https://covid-19training.gov.au/login, register, then enrol in the course Infection Control Training – COVID 19. The training is very simple and takes about 10 minutes.

VOLUNTEER members will need to bring the following to registration collection day.

  • Completed Working with Children Declaration for every person planning on volunteering during the season (download here)

  • Acknowledgement of Infection Control Training – COVID 19 training certificate for every person planning on volunteering during the season

  • Proof of Age (passport or birth certificate) if your child has not previously been a member of Little Athletics.

Uniforms

 

Uniforms are optional at training. SDAC Uniforms are required only when representing the club in competition (Zone, Regional, State etc). If you wish to

purchase uniform if required.

Please note: Due to COVID Safety guidelines uniforms cannot be tried on this year and cannot be returned once purchased. At Registration Days, uniform helpers will be wearing masks and gloves and will be able to hold up uniforms against children to help ascertain the correct fit. To speed up this process, please use the measurements below to estimate the sizes that you require.

 
  • Length measured from centre of shoulder

  • Chest measured at armhole

  • Girls Bike Shorts in lycra with elastic waist

  • Boys shorts have drawstring waist

**Sizing tips:

Singlets are a smaller fit. We recommend going up 1-2 sizes.

Girls bike shorts are a larger fit. We recommend going down 1 size.
